Yes you can, thirty years ago I was a drug addict of the lowest order. I had a fifteen hundred dollar a day cocaine habit. The day I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins, save my soul, and set me free He did so immediately. His word promises in John 8:36, “he whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” The Apostle Paul wrote to us in Romans 6:22 “ but now having been set free from sin ,and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.” The angel told Joseph that Jesus would come to save people from their sins. John wrote us again in I John 2:1”little children these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” I’m not saying you will not live a sinless life, however, I am saying sin shall not have dominion over you. A life of liberty, peace and joy in Jesus is possible, but you must repent of you excuses and allow Him to cleanse you and start fresh, you can be free in Jesus name.
