The Spiritual Condition of the People
Matthew 22:29 “Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God”. John 8:31-32 “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”.
Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children”.
Hosea 4:9 “And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings”.
Isaiah 30:10-11 “ Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us the right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: “ Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us”.

Having dealt with the issue of stolen content we must now move on to the weightier and more personal matter of our ministerial responsibility. Before we begin, I must admonish you to remove the self and the carnal excuses about ourselves and our ministry. Remember, open rebuke is better than secret love and the father always corrects those whom he loves. It is neither my desire nor the heart of God to either browbeat or sugarcoat the situation. Most of you did not start out spiritually where you are now. The declension has been subtle so as to deceive you into thinking this is just the way things are now. Pain, disappointment, sheep bite, discouragement, a seeming lack of success, watching others promoted by nepotism, politics and false though popular teachings has diminished us spiritually.

Hi, it’s me again, writing to remind you that our treasures are still stolen and must be recovered. Thank you for your response to part two of the article. If you are having trouble opening your e-mails you can always go to jubilee ministries.org and download the articles. Please share these with everyone you know and let us hear from you in response.
Now let’s move to the matter of the content our ministry. Please receive these teachings in the prophetic spirit in which they are written. If they apply to you and your church pray through and change, if not rejoice, but don’t defend against the truth and don’t let your flesh control you.

Thank you very much for your overwhelming response to my opening article. It is my desire to answer the questions asked without fear or favor. Neither this article nor the following articles are an attempt to put anyone down or any church – but rather my heartfelt desire is for true repentance and a return to New Testament doctrine and practice by God’s people. My fear is that you will read this article lightly or defensively and neither will benefit you or the kingdom.
Remember not all of these points are for everyone or every church. My wife is an excellent cook, and she tells me four things determine great food. These are ingredients, mixture, atmosphere and proper temperature. These things also make for a great church and for an encounter with the Lord Jesus. There was a time when we practiced a unity between our worship and the preached word in our services. Our music reflected the preached word without a staff meeting to organize it. It was simply two people being led by the same spirit.
